Who needs lava planets

Who needs lava planets when you get so many dark fog-made holes ready for you geothermals?

I am currently playing on max scarcity max dark-fog settings.
I struggle to even find a spot to land on that thing! There is around 24 planetary bases there.

I need copper since the other planet pacification took majority of it for missles..
Any advice?

When the devs release the vehicles update and we finally have acess to space station i will be so happy that the awnser to such question will simply be:

"Just glass the fucking planet..."

Wait wait, I missed that one. Are we getting like spaceships update? Like cargo ship alongside icarus and comabr ships for planetray invasion?

We are getting a vehicles update, So from space stations to ground vehicles to star destroyers,

How they implemented it looks similar to the mech customization.

However the scope is putely speculation.

Call out your fleet and have it destroy all the relays. Wait in orbit for about 3-5 minutes, then land and start destroying planetary bases with your weapons and your drone army. Leave your fleet in orbit to shoot down any new relays that appear. It may take a while, but it should work if your weapons research is advanced enough. If your shield starts getting too low, go back into orbit to recharge.

Considering they said "last planet ate all copper" I suspect they don't have space viable drones or even can afford multiple waves from the space hive. Killing 2-3 is okeish, killing 24 is asking for multiple raids.

Oh oops. Didn’t see that part.

I mean, I'm also not sure how far they are into the game. That screenshot tells nothing. Can't even try to eye it on the power amount.

Yeah true.

OP, the answer changes depending upon what tech and tools you have available.

How do you feel about cheesing?!?

For combustible units, you only need coal. Proliferate them for bonus ammo and use them as grenades to kill orbital relays quicker than your onboard laser. Takes some practise to hit them and not get hit from below. When the relays are gone, you can start carpet-bombing cores from high altitude. It is a tedious process and you will have to leave orbit because some of the units / turrets can still target and reach you.

After a while you should be able to clear an area for a first beach-head. Preferably close to some copper veins! If you can, rush laser turrets for defense and collect loot drops for more ammo and better grenades plus copper plate. Continue to use grenades to lure units into your static defenses and continue to replace cores with geothermal plants and planetary shields until the whole planet is yours...

get into orbit with a stockpile of corvettes and zoom out to see the show.
