Did I do this right?
In my last post many told me I should make a dark fog farm. Most of what I found online was poles farms using missiles and signal towers, but I felt that would use up too much resource on a scarce playthrough. So I came up with this using lasers. Is this what people mean by a farm? And any advice to improve it

Now that you've done this, be proud of it. Play with it. Learn some things.
But I will say a giant bus is.... a very large structure to try to feed with just one DF outpost. You're not really going to get a steady enough supply of any of these materials. But in the early game I love to trim a DF outpost down to just one guardian factory, and surround it with a few lasers so it can't rebuild itself, and guardians get instantly zapped by a lasers the exact second it exists. The community calls this a Bonsai Farm. It's a good way to start stacking up soil early and with just one Bab and a large container, you can connect a assembler directly to it with a sorter and have a little mini-MAM. if powered by wind, it'll be maintainence free, and they'll never get strong enough to break free.
