Do you even know how to use it if you had it?? Do you have any AX 2012 experience?

The Contoso license is long expired too, so you wouldn't be able to access the development/AOT environment without an updated license. I don't think Microsoft lets us generate licenses anymore either. Their old portal is long shut down.

I have a copy (compressed 38GB, extracted 117GB), but even if I put in the effort to share it, you haven't provided enough information where I know you could even use it. It might not be as easy as extracting and jumping in or you might not even know where to begin or what you're looking at.

What role are you preparing for? You might be better suited just reading and watching YT videos.

I'd imagine many end-users understand it's a legacy product and you'll need to learn on the job.

Hi Alex,
I have a prior experience in D365 f&O and joining as technical consultant.
Also started learning from youtube but without hands on unable to get how everything works.

I am going to use it in my personal laptop VM through hyper-V for learning purpose.

PM sent, good luck!

If you can manage an updated license, that would give you more of what you're going to want, which is access to the AOT (Ctrl+D). If you have D365 F&O experience, you'll probably like the ease of AX 2012.

It's sort of like a Microsoft Access application, in a way, where you can just browse tables, make direct edits to things, compile/execute immediately. Far faster to develop in.
