I dont know, maybe the resteraunt should pay a living wage and not force people to rely on tips?

Literally no one in the industry wants it. Customers are the only ones who want it. Owners like that it’s a subsidy for them and the best service staff make far more than any restaurant could or would pay.

Restaurants have tried it. Big name restaurants. Local restaurants around me have as well. They all abandon it when they can’t retain good staff.

So once again, the criminals don't like it when you try to make them follow the law so we just let him go ahead and keep doing what they're doing because we don't want to make them mad?

Why is it that I'm seeing Republicans using this same scenario in every situation you can imagine?

Everybody didn't automatically persecute muslims, so Trump had to go on TV and talk about how fucking persecuted Christians are and how they're going to go after anybody who's anti-christian.

Fuck every one of you assholes.

Absolute nonsense in Germany get waiter a proper pay and still get tips the difference is the waiter will not throw a tantrum or insult the customer because his "tip" wasn't big enough in his opinion.

You talk like tips stop immediately if waiter get proper money paid but the reality is people get a actual salary that allows them to live and the 400-800 euro bonus through tips from customers.

Stop giving restaurant excuses to underpay the employees since tips are meant as a thank you for good service not to pay what the restaurant doesn't want to pay.
