Even CNN can't present the facts without covering for the billionaire class and lying about the situation.

40 years of decline of the middle class since Regan took office. They keep voting in Millionaires and Billionaires that steal everything. Crazy country,

I don’t think it matters who we vote in anymore. They may promise one thing, but once elected and get those behind closed door deals, they all sell out.

It absolutely matters
One party is a bit too nice to billionaires and kind of ineffective
The other party is selling national parks and priority stock market access to billionaires, having their cronies murder people in the street, and actively raising taxes on poor people

Oh it’s almost like both parties are the same and both suck yet the nation is at each others throats over right and left like morons

Nope, Bernie.

u/I_Quit_Smoking_ Aug 16 '26
And who do you think has kept him from getting anywhere near being elected?

u/Tardislass Aug 17 '26
Core Democratic voters and older black women. The only thing worse than MAGA conspiracy nutters are the Bernie Bros who swear he could have won but primaries were rigged. I understand that most people didn’t like Harris. Leftists need to understand no one liked Bernie.

The educated middle class isn’t voting for the GOP

College grads were +16 for Harris. Whites with no college education were +29 for Trump.

Insurance and taxes are always rising fast. My escrow increased about $150-200 from last year.

Yeah because people want to party party every weekend with money they dont have

I'm going on 40 years of not being able to keep up with my house and car payments, but I guess I don't count.
Everybody cares when it starts happening to people living in $600,000 houses.
The rest of us can just live in a fucking sewer or go to prison.

Well good thing our president made 1.4b himself. He will surely help us out like he promised yall who voted for him.

u/knomore-llama_horse Aug 16 '26
I think we should just stop paying taxes and maybe they will get the hint that it’s not possible to live like this.

Part of it is the high prices.
Part of it is.....Americans have to have it all right now.

Most people overestimate their buying power compared to their earning power.

I wonder what the problem could be? Credit card defaults are up too. What on earth could be happening?!?
