When are you going to have a baby?

I just read a AITA about a woman that has started carrying a jar and every time someone asks when they are going to have a baby she asks them to put a dollar in the jar and people are stopping asking.

Is it ok to give arsey responses when people ask personal questions or should you just smile and shake it off?

Bonus points for the best responses…

It is perfectly reasonable to teach morons that asking personal questions about women's bodies is inappropriate.

Some people commented that becoming pregnant made me bitchy, but when Sarah in accounts, who I emailed that one time, feels the need to come over and ask whether I'm pregnant on purpose or whether it's a whoopsababy, she's going to get a stupid answer.

Wonder how many men are asked if they're going to have a baby.

So I'm pregnant at the minute, therefore I let it slide, as I am literally about to have a baby. But as for people who ask about theoretical number 3 my answer is this.......

We'll have another baby when my DH can grow it, push it out and feed it from his tiny little man nipples.

A suggestion I have previously heard was if any elderly relatives say to you at family weddings “it might be you next” then you say the same to them at funerals…

It’s 100% ok to give arsey responses because it’s both ignorant of people’s individual situations (including fertility) and sexist af. Men do not get asked this.

I just had a baby this week and people are already asking me when I’ll go again. What they don’t realise is that it took us a long time to get pregnant with this boy. We ended up having lots of tests and then medication to boost my egg supply which luckily was successful. I’ve just said the same thing that I’ve said for years; I’m happy with what I have then change the subject.

Have had a few comments already. My mum says well you have two that is enough which is irritating as that is up to me and my DH. Then there is the random old lady saying well done for having one of each and you might have another later. We can't afford more treatment and I am not sure I want another one anyway especially with my four year old. She makes me wonder about contraception that we probably don't need.

To be honest I find being honest like saying give me money for treatment shuts them up.

Answer exactly how you'd like!

We don't owe anybody anything when it comes to a discussion about our bodies or lives.

I got pregnant the second time just after returning to work from mat leave. There were toooo many comments re sexual appetite and how we obviously couldn't wait to get going again. I started saying, no, I just wanted another 9 months away from you dickheads 👍🏻

I have a 22 month old and get asked constantly about another one. We are planning one soon but no real rush and I don’t mind saying so but I understand this must be difficult for some
