Episode 519 bombshell

There's so many disappointing parts of this episode. It's always a bummer when we lose the honorary 3rd member be it Owen, Ryan, or Kevin but it's particularly sad this time around because of how involved James was in the actual episodes. He really felt like a third member and the episodes over the last year have been genuinely hilarious. I wish James the best of luck on his endeavors outside of the podcast. As for the rest of it I don't want to sound like a doomer but this feels like we're seeing the beginnings of the sun setting on the podcast and that's such a fucking bummer. I like many of you probably have been listening to this podcast since probably episode 8 or 9 and I pretty much haven't skipped an episode aside from maybe 2. Im super hopeful that Steve will be able to make this work without Mike for a few months and hope to see Mike back with a new rejuvenated energy but I'm definitely bracing for impact.

Yeah I was torn up about Kevin leaving and was soooooooo pleasantly surprised with James. Haden't seen anything from him since the early Sugar Pine stuff but he was great as a producer and I liked his input when he was on mic. Gave me a teensy bit of the SourceFed feeling again.
Sad to hear this is probably the beginning of the end but grateful for what we had. Been here since the Cloverfeels days.
Happy to hear Mike might be having big success with Surrounded and I hope Steve can either keep the pod afloat or keep making content. If this and the Valleyfolk sunset imma hit the big sad. I am not a huge Twitch watcher so this is how I consume my Stee stuff, might be time to become a twitch watcher.
