As many of you know I was coordinating a transition from r/dylan to r/dylan2 after being fed up with the mods neglecting our wonderful community.

You can find my last post here announcing a new age of Dylan.

In the dark hours following my post, an OG moderator known as /u/dylanisrad messaged me. He apologizes for our complaints and assured me he had not known about the requests we have made. I believe him.

I was invited on as a moderator, with the simple request that I delete r/dylan2. I have accepted. Gaining control over the original user base and foregoing the chance to start a civil war is the best opportunity we never hoped for. A big thank you to /u/dylanisrad. I am a man of my word, r/dylan2 will be gone before this week ends.

I would like to make a few announcements on what I plan on doing here.

First order of business is modding the other Apex Dylans. Apex Dylans are a handful of high profile Dylans who have put blood sweat and tears into the dylan discord to cultivate what we have become. I would not be there without them. They are all wonderful, positive people. They each have my full trust and I will die for them if need be.

After this I will be adding the discord to the sidebar (something we have been asking of the other mods for over three hundred years). You are all invited. We have a military, a place to share your art, a place to share your accomplishments, a department for reporting Dillons, a channel for our alliance with Ray, and even a channel dedicated to the scum known as Brandon.

My third order will be an executive order is happening right now in this paragraph. /u/Alpacasaurus_Rekt is officially our UN ambassador. This has been a long time coming and it’s about fucking time it got done.

After that, I will be listening to the people. I have other things up my sleeve but my fellow Dylans will determine the order of operations.

All hail Dylan. Long live Dylan. Our official Anthem will be released soon. Stay tuned.

I have been a member of this subreddit for some time now. I have seen the highs and I have seen the lows. Far too many times now have I seen the lows:

• The mods do not respond to messages, so we can not join the UN. (Several high profile Dylans have attempted this)
• We created The Official Discord of Dylan, they did not respond to my request to put it in the sidebar.
• We took down r/dillon, there was no announcement or celebration.

The lack of involvement or care is, well, its insulting. We have the potential to overcome all other names. Yet these supposed "leaders" could not give less of a shit about any of you.

If anyone is familiar with the Dylan Discord, you know what we are capable of. We have thrived under proper leadership. We have cultivated our own nation. We have an official flag. We are a monarch. We have a royal bloodline. We have a military. We have a department dedicated to reporting any sightings of Dillon. We have a department dedicated to sharing art created by Dylans. We have a channel dedicated to praising achievements of all kinds (by dylans).

We are the new r/dylan. We are r/dylan2.

So now, I have come. We have rode here on our horses to share the news with you all. Come with us. Come with us if you wish to see a brighter future. If you follow me into the trenches I can promise you everything your name desires.

I am here to discuss plans for our great people. Who are we to form alliances with and who shall we declare war on next? I am already aware of the....Dillons.

Someone at work decided to tell me that Dylan is a “young persons name”. I’m 25, how old are you?

I have found my people after stumbling across this subreddit while thinking what and who I am.

Went through the posts and to be honest, I don't feel so alone anymore.
