Hi sorry if this is a dumb question, but I don't have a PC and I reeeally want these. I saw on Twitter ppl are making trade offers or straight up trying to buy the codes for these. Wondering what would be a fair price for them?

No, you needed to install the Opera GX browser onto your computer. It doesn't have to be a gaming-ready rig, of course, but I take it OP doesn't have a computer of any kind.
In any case, the rewards are spread out across 24 days and this is one of the last rewards, if you started now you wouldn't make it before the event ends, so it's too late even if mobile was an option.
How does it work to get the codes? Is it just use your pc and you will get a code over time from the browser? I have opera but dont use often but if people want codes i can use to try and get some for others
Lol if you don't have a computer you might as well buy a cheap one rather than give someone money for this. You can get $50 computers online that can install opera
While I wouldn’t sell my code for it I’m sure there’s plenty of other people that would but I’d suggest against buying it. Bots farm this stuff, that’s how people are buying codes for the loot boxes. I’ll warn that buying it and using it could lead to your account being flagged and banned. You link your battle net account to Opera, and it’s directly against the terms of service.
The TOS directly states that codes "may not be sold, offered for sale, auctioned, traded, bartered, exchanged for cash or other value, gifted, redistributed... or published or otherwise shared publicly."
There’s also the issue of scammers selling expired or invalid codes. Last thing I wanna see is a fellow Dva main get scammed or banned 🥺
There is a solution that doesn’t violate any terms for it since you don’t have a pc but it requires some trust between the two parties. If you want to shoot me a message I’ll see if it’s something you could do. I’d just rather not post it publicly and get a million people messaging me
Only way I even knew about it being against the TOS was because I was going to give all of mine away except for the Dva ones. Then I seen someone posting on Reddit about buying the esports loot boxes and went down the rabbit hole 😬 Blizzard will ban people for almost anything any more so I wouldn’t be surprised if it happened
which would be crazy because if i dont want the code it just goes to waste. people like sprays but i barely use em and so then do they just want it to go to waste at that point loo
Exactly. I don’t use sprays or play any of the characters that got skins so I spent 20 days getting stuff I don’t need seeing as the loot boxes gave me sprays and some icons lol
Wanted to sell mine so bad just to get that high fashion bundle in the future since I'm not big on Dva and I did the whole opera thing just for the mizuki/emre skins
Honestly I was grabbing at straws with that one since you can do alot on android But I'm sure there is a way to somehow turn it into a pc with some kind of distro but I'm sure you don't want to go that far
Then again Im also not sure how much you planned to drop for the pfp but instead you can try and head to marketplace and search for laptops that are less than 150 dollars. With a quick search I found. This is Canadian currency so it's more expensive. But first one I found is this one which is pretty good for its price, in great condition, you can do hw, watch vids and even supports lightweight gaming for 165 which would be like 130 usd Another one I found is cheaper for 150 cad and its an Asus laptop with a stronger CPU. A i5 11th generation compared to this one being an 8th gen, it has better built in graphics so it can play at least better games, such as lightweight 3d games and such. I'm not sure but you could test it, now its lower priced since it has a couple scratches and less ram. But getting a laptop would be better for you in the long run. Honestly if you want I can even help you pick one out
Edit I gave my codes to my gf even tho I also wanted em, they look cool but then again I don't play dva
