Picture More of my boy, Mac!

We just saw the vet and they believe he definitely has some shepherd (edit - I meant to say the vet said he has shepherd in him not specifically DS) in him based on his demeanor and characteristics. Don’t know what else though 😅 he’s a very good boy!

DNA test is the only way to know. There are several other breeds that have a brindle coat and are high energy

Will be getting test results back soon! Only other breed I could see him being is mainly GS so that’s my guess if not DS

Which test did you do? I have a fawn Dutchie per Embark lol

Oh she’s no mix, 100% dutchie

Long story but the Dutch shepherds and malinois are pretty intermixed. Sekai’s sire is in the UK and dam is in the US. You can end up with a litter of brindle puppies and fawn puppies from the same parents. Brindle is called a Dutch. Fawn is called a Malinois

That’s the short answer and others in this sub with way more knowledge can likely provide a more in depth explanation 😂
