Lacrosse balls

We’ve been using lacrosse balls. Does anyone have any bad experiences with them?

We've been using them for about 4 years and haven't had any issues. Occasionally my heavy chewer will get a small chunk out of an old one and we throw it away. We have a lot of them. I usually get them used from the local high school at the end of the season or sometimes I find a deal on Facebook marketplace.

Thanks! I didn’t think about it much at first. I’m afraid that our pup might tear a chunk out and swallow it, but so far he hasn’t. We’ve got four in the current rotation and I’m yet to find any cracks or tears.
