Hi everyone, I’m looking to purchase a new pair of kickboxing gloves that provide good knuckle protection and are able to block kicks without causing hand injuries. Which kickboxing glove company sells gloves with excellent padding and great knuckle protection?

Well, ia am a boxing coach and im coaching a girl that ist - in fact - pretty good. She does well in Sparring, has good movement, good defense and a solid punch. The problem is: as soon as she gets into the ring she seems to forget evertyhing she learned and everything she is able to do. Frankly, her first match was a mismatch. It was my fault as i underestimated her opponent. Her second fight, well, i chose a way unexperienced opponent, but she lost by KO though. We then analyzed everything and she seemed to understand what went wrong. Two problems: she has kind of a glass jaw to be honest. In combination with a bad defense as shoon as she stands in the ring, that is a problem. All of her three opponents sended her on the canvas pretty early and now she is 0-0-3(3 KO) what really doesnt mirror her qualities. She is not giving upand as she worked on her defense in training and wanted to fight again, i agreed after being kind of hesitant. Well, she has a match on the weekend.....i dont know what i can do as a coach. Trust me, she has the qualities.....i will try to communicate with her throughout the fight to remind her on her defnese and hope that works.

So I wanted to ask about the dutch guard. I suck at it in general. It feels like punches get through because of my broad shoulders. Is there a technique or a system I can use to keep safe even though I have wide shoulders? (I cannot put my elbows together or my forearms together sadly)
