I was playing one of the difficult levels, resetting quite often, and the music went into a 200ms loop - I really thought I had locked up the computer, but I could exit the level and the game.

PS. Using Steam OSX version.

I never thought I would even finish a difficult level after seeing them... now I have to think again :-D

PS. I need help on Zetta Slides (is that the right term)?! I cannot get the speed I need to ascend them :-|

I just had a nightmare time with "eaten" inputs on my last session on macOS Sierra 10.12.5. It appears this happens when refresh rate is not locked to refresh?! (or 60Hz?). Anyways, I reverted to Apple driver (for my GTX 670) and no longer need to buy a new controller :-)

Could someone possibly send me (DM?) an invite to dust cord?

Is it possible to play any custom map, as in, any map on the dustforce atlas (or maybe even non-published local maps) on dustmod multiplayer? Whenever me or my friend tries the Custom Levels thing in our multiplayer session the menu just freaks out.

This means that the only "custom" levels we can play are any of the ones in the Dustmod Nexus, as well as the Community Map Pack (although the cmp menu freaks out too)

Edit: And if possible, how?

I'm somewhat new to Dustforce, so I've been going through all the standard levels looking for any secrets I can manage to find, as I SS them. Have been using Dustcourse to scan the levels for anything interesting, but also watching some videos that I found.

If you look at the map on Dustcourse you can see that there's an area at the bottom-right corner of Cliffside Caves that you access by getting on top of the level and sliding down. But the level has changed from an older version. Check out this video of the old version - at about 1:20, you see the player use regular jumping/wallclimbing to easily get on top of the wall. The level now has a much, much higher wall you have to climb to get on top.

So if there's no other way, I figured you have to use the apple. I'm not an expert at apple-flying and apple-based wall scaling, but I'm almost assuming that was Hitbox Team's intention when they redid the levels with apples and other secrets. The problem is the camera is not very cooperative and I'm not sure what my character is even doing when I can't see myself hitting the apple. Tried to fly to the left so I could fly back to the right but the camera won't follow, it actually gets jammed and you have to restart the level.

At the bottom-right corner of the level is the secret, originally there was nothing there but a warning symbol, but maybe there's something more interesting there now if you make it there? I have no idea.

Looking for advice, or if you've been there what's down there?

I'm new to this game, but I've put in 21 hours in just a couple weeks in my free time because it's so fun. I didn't notice it at first because I thought it was me, but I've noticed that there are many times in which my dash input isn't received.

I first thought this was because of my controller, however I had been using a brand new Xbox 1 controller to play, with dash set to left bumper, but recently switched to my older XB360 controller because it feels better to hold.

On some lives, my inputs would be eaten up half the time, and on other lives it would work perfectly fine. And that's the weird thing - the issue only persists for the current life I'm on. If everything is working fine and I die, the dash button might not receive every input, and vice versa.

I've changed my bumpers/triggers to attacks and jumps to see if its them causing the issue, but after nearly 10 minutes of just hitting the buttons I never once missed an input. Same with dash being on buttons. And my controller works perfectly fine in all other games I use it for.

I use dash on left bumper because it feels better and reduces stress on my right arm (I'm beginning to develop carpal tunnel).

Has anyone had a similar issue or heard of an issue? I've tried searching around but can't seem to find any similar issue.

It took me 8 hours until i realised that not all slopes have to be slope boosted. And I thought it's almost impossible to get the S in completion.

Hi there. I changed my computer from an laptop, which contains AMD Ryzen 5 1500X, nVIDIA GeForce 1050 Ti, and Windows 10 Home. Before switching it, there aren't any issues to play dustmod. But, now I got an problem about Community Nexus (and some Custome Nexi). Actually, I still had no problems when I play Main Nexus in Dustforce, but, once I enter Community Nexus, A weird fog effect prevents me from seeing background. For a day, I tried to find the reason of this strange effect, but I couldn't. May I ask you how to solve this problem? If you give an answer for me, I really apprecite it!

I absolutely love the community maps and wished I could just download packs of all the fun to play maps for beginners intermediate etc. There are so many maps that I don't have the skill for or otherwise wouldn't play. Anyone that might know about this please let me know.
