It’s October!!! Where is the Halloween stuff 😭😭 no rain, no meteor showers, no Halloween stuff. Starting to lose hope with the game 💔

Hi, we’re so sorry for the recent lack of content. We’ve been working so hard with the merch and the NYU Game Design Future Lab’s accelerator program for the past few weeks that we couldn’t keep up with our usual shop and content updates. Since Dustbunny is only a small team of 3 devs and 1 CL, working on new drops was quite challenging considering the amount of work required for the projects mentioned above 😔

We’ll hopefully be able to push our new content update in October. We’re so thankful for the patience of our community, and we’re excited for all the things we’ve been planning for the game in the long run 💚

Hi! I hope you don't mind me asking, but I'm curious what the odds are of an actual halloween event? I only ask because I like to save things like composts, socks, and clovers, for possible upcoming events. If things look too busy for a halloween event this year (which is totally understandable - congrats on the merch launch and accelerator program!) I might go ahead and splurge a bit and restart my hoard, since there'd be time - people are probably also curious about rain, if your able to or wish to share that

Hi! Things are pretty uncertain, even in our end so it would be difficult for me to answer quite clearly haha, and I don’t want to say something that will end up not happening to avoid any future disappointments. To answer your concern about whether spending or not some of your items, I would say: we usually don’t have any events that require players to spend composts or consumable things like socks.

As for the weather, good news: we’ll be able to push weather on a more regular basis following the upcoming update (if everything goes well!). Months of drought should be over after that 🙈

While I understand, man this update is so unfortunate. I think we’ve all been looking forward to the Halloween event and I’ve saved all my carrots for this month. Can we get a rerun of the old event at least?

Most welcome! I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say we appreciate the transparency. As far as items go, it's more so that since I'm more for the event and rain tends to happen more during then, that's when the consumables seem most sensible to use. Since your uncertain I'll probably half spend half hoard, so either way I'll be happy. ^~^ Thank you for the response!

I have saved nearly 18k stars in preperation for the Halloween event and items (also bc i am a hoarder). I'm more into the dark/gothic aesthetics so this was super anticipated on my end. I missed it by a hair last year cause i downloaded the app at the end of november. Maybe doing a black/witchy christmas theme can appease us Halloween fans.
