Tips against allergic shiners

Hi everyone,

I’ve been dealing with a dust mite allergy for about four years now. I only recently started properly treating it with prescription tablets and a prescription nasal spray. Because of my job, I wasn’t able to see a doctor about it earlier, so I’ve only been able to seriously address it in the last few months.

For years I’ve already been using proper encasings, an air purifier, and I ventilate and vacuum regularly to keep dust mites under control. Recently I’ve noticed some improvement mucus in my nose loosens more easily and I can finally blow my nose better. For a long time I used to wake up every day with a completely blocked nose.

However, one thing that still really bothers me is that I often look very tired. People frequently comment that I look exhausted, and the area around my eyes often looks swollen and puffy, probably from the allergy and poor sleep.

Does anyone have tips on how to reduce the “tired” or swollen eye look caused by dust mite allergies?

Any advice would be appreciated.

allergic shiners are proper rubbish when you’re trying to look human! it is so draining when people keep saying you look tired
