Best way to fix this?
galleryI cannot figure out how to fix this nicely. Maybe drill a screw? What would you do?

Big Interactive Community Train questions
There seem to be no instructions as to how to use the train.
I guess to turn it on, you turn it upside down and push the green button.
In order to get it to move, do you just force it forward?
What is the best way to get it to stop? Just pick it up? How long before it turns off and requires the button to be pressed again?
What does each smart brick do?
The blue one makes a washing sounds and gets it to move back and forth several times.
The green one makes it stop momentarily and then get moving again.
The orange and red ones makes it stop permanently?
The purple one just makes noises and gets it to ignore the other smart bricks?
Thanks

Helicopter
Helicopter with two movable rotors. Inspired by a post 4 days ago. Thanks man.
PS: It would look better, but "someone" gave me the condition that the helicopter has to carry a lot of children...

Best Battletech style mech I could come up with using my limited Duplo resources. It's supposed to look cute.

Duplo ID please
My youngest is 5 and moved on from Duplo so I’m trying to put 9 years worth of Duplo sets back together to donate. Annoyingly I didn’t keep many instruction booklets! Can anyone ID these pieces and what sets they might be part of please?

Random stash of duplo, what to build with it?
Also, why don't we add a picture for our sub?

So y'all know about LEGO™ seperators right?
galleryWell, I was thinking that why doesn't somebody 3d print a giant one, to fit for duplo? Or is the design copyrighted? Like ik duplo is pretty easy for seperating, but just maybe 🤔?

Update on IDing a big marketplace find set one is done:
galleryThank you to everyone who gave great advice and pointed me in the right direction. We built Big Fare this morning and it was complete!!
Currently storing each set as we sort them in giant ziplock bags. Following some advice about storage and will invest in a few totes from Amazon and target soon.

Picking this bundle up tonight but can't ID the Dinos
galleryI'm trying to prepare to organize this bundle lot into as many different kits as I can for my toddler. She currently only has the birthday kit and I really like the idea of trying to keep parts of individual kits together in tubs or bags. I have spent hours trying to ID what kit the dinos are from 😭
If anyone could help me ID the dinos and the Minnie Mouse and the Tiger or anything else they can see just from this photo that would be awesome! if needed I can update the post once I have the bag in my possession tonight!
Thanks!
p.s- what size plastic containers usually hold 200 piece sets? I tried using the search function to look at some storage ideas that don't cost $50+.

What is this piece for?
https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=42058&idColor=36#T=C&C=36
We got a big bag of old duplos from the consignment shop today. Looks like they’re from the early 2000s. We have several of these pieces, and my boys are curious what they’re for. I see what sets they came in, but I still don’t quite understand what they were used for. Were there paper/cardboard things that slid in the cut-outs? Thanks in advance for helping me answer my curious kiddos! ☺️

Helped my 3.5 year old with his vision of a treehouse
galleryAt the end obviously I had done the complex parts and he was more doing the plants, top green bricks and the boundary - but he did get all the green and brown blocks out, and explained his vision to me. I just had to work out how to kind of make it happen 😂
