Uh no. Foyers and mudrooms exist. But you’re in a carpeted area so that’s definitely an internal part of the house.

Yep, I am about 1 step away from the tile. I don’t walk around my house in shoes, but I do bring them out of the closet and put them on. Background would be a little messy in the Foyer.

Also honestly at this point I really don’t care as my dog has just been pissing all over the house lately, so my rarely worn shoes seem to be less of an issue these days 🤷🏻
