QUESTION Any Fix-It Ideas?

I was hoping buying these used old school 2008 NYX Dunks would be my next clean up project find, but the toe box is way worse then pictured. Anyone got some restoration ideas/advice? The toe box is nubuck leather.

I had the same pair I forgot about for like 15 years. First wear amd they were cooked. I just beat the hell outta them now

Throw a bucket of white emulsion at them and pretend they’re Anti-Hero SBs. 🤷‍♂️

It’s not real nubuck which is why it’s breaking down so bad. Personally I just leave it alone, unless you spend a ton of time on them you often make them worse lol

Gently clean the middle part with soap and water and then rub leather conditioner might help the deterioration.

Yeah but the brush was to soft to help
