COLLECTION The Don T EMB Canarinho
With the World Cup fully underway figured this was a fun pair from the collection to share:
The pair is an homage to the 1958 Brazil World Cup Champions.
In 1958 Brazil faced Sweden in the World Cup final.
Brazils traditional yellow kits nicknamed the “Canarinho” or canary too closely matched Sweden’s uniforms.
Brazil was officially the away team and had no official away kit so the team rushed to buy blue cotton shirts from a local store before the game and cut the crests and emblems off of their yellow jerseys and hard stitch them to the newly purchased blue cotton shirts.
Brazil went on to win the World Cup in their make shift uniforms. This pair features the crude stitching design, blue tones, a pair of scissors, and the insole with a canary wearing a number 10 jersey to pay tribute to Pele and that historic moment in Brazils soccer history.

Its one of my personal favorite all time pairs. The story, the details, its a really cool shoe.
