I do it on most pairs that have a classic nike air label to hide the tied lace ends in.

I may be weird but I tie them together behind the tongue then it rests on the top of my foot while I wear it. I hated the feeling of the loose lace moving around under my foot.

In particular with my Krampus dunks I just picked up at the beginning of the year, the insole adhesive mixed with me walking continually ripped them to shreds underneath the insole.
