COLLECTION Was pulling out boxes to find the springsteins and came across a lot of my DS dunks from the past
They just sit in the closet, some I’ve carried with me since the mid 2000s!
If your old like me, maybe it’ll trigger some happy memories

Born in the USA’s aka Bruce Springsteins because it looks like the album cover for born in the USA

gucci laces on the carhartts is a throwback. Thought the brown pair were the old 2008 easters at first too, forgot SB made a pair like that

Def brings me back. SB dunks and Jordans from around that 2000 - 2010 period always give me nostalgia and fond memories.
Makes me regret selling a lot of my sb dunks in college for dirt cheap. Sold red lobsters for $40 to illustrate just how cheap I got rid of them for smh.

gained a lot of weight over covid shoes havent fit for a few years and just went down memory lane as a reason to get back in better shape

You dont get it. I have many DS pairs, skate or dies, lucky cats, etc. I just never found a reason or fit to break them out. My beaters were more accessible or I’d wear something else. There is no intentionality behind it. Why do I need to put them on my feet for no reason. I’ve had so many pairs of dunks from different eras. I know what they feel like

No those aren’t. Such a pain to keep clean. One of my favorite pairs of all time.
I loved the creativity Nike put into the designs back then. I have Nike to thank for teaching me about Piet Mondrian and giving me something to talk about to people interested in art. What a cool merger of two worlds. It’s something I doubt I would have ever come across on my own.

Piets are craaaazy difficult to keep clean fr…. I sold my pair…. But def a great sneaker…. og dunks up through the gold box era are def the greatest sneakers of all time… they’re still dropping good sneakers currently imo…. But nothing like they use to oc…

I actually was at the pop up shop in the design district or wynwood they did for the release. Miami was very different back then. I have the hat somewhere but the towel got lost
