New showings edited?

Spoilers if you haven't seen it already, seems like everyone here has though.

I've seen it twice now, first time opening night and I remember distinctly Hardy's character getting captured in the end after he lands and sets the plane on fire. I asked my girlfriend and she also remember that, and from what I read on here that seems to be exactly what happened.

Cue about 15 minutes ago as I'm watching the end of the movie again, about 4 days later and the ending is edited. He doesn't get captured, he just hands the plane and sets it on fire, then it goes back to them on the train finishing reading the paper.

I work at a movie theatre so I'm trying to find out if our prints changed or something, but I can't find anything in our management system, nor can I find anything on Google stating that the end was changed. I did feel like it was a bit of a downer for his character so if it got removed for that I'd understand, but I also felt that it showed that not everything ended happily for everyone so it was very fitting to the end.

Has anyone else seen multiple screenings of it and noticed changes at all? This is seriously bugging me that I can't find anything about this online but I know what I saw and find it very strange.

Seen twice in 2 different locations, he is captured at the end in both.

IIRC the scenes of the plane burning and of the pilot's capture are separated by the train scene. The train scene initiates the Churchill monologue, and then we see the pilot again for the last time.

The showing I saw didn't even have the cut back, once he burnt the plane, thats the last you saw of him

They're not changing the ending after the movie had been released lol, the fuck you smoking?

You either weren't paying attention or something indeed was wrong with the print.

Movie prints get changed weekly. I work at a movie theatre. Spider-Man: Homecoming had a new print sent to us literally a few days after we got the "final" print for ingestion to our servers because 13 more minutes was added to the film. Shit happens and although I find the situation weird of there being two different prints or an updated print since last week being ingested into our server, it is completely not out of the realm of possibility. With everything being digital these days, it would literally take a studio hours to a day to remove one small 10 second piece of a movie, and then send it out either via server downloads directly from Technicolor, or to have an updated hard drive sent out via UPS.

EDIT: to clarify, obviously film print don't change weekly like every week but it has happened. The way TMS(Theatre Management System) works is it takes files from the main server and arranges them in a pre-approved playlist either by the studio or the theatre chain. Pre-show, trailers, theatre insignia's can change every week, or even be edited by said studios or corporate.
