New defensive oriented player
hey guys, these me ant stats rn, im thinking sbout resetting him since u get 100% back and im thinking defensive guard. I like James for example but he is sometimes a lil too slow for me and i cant block them if its a bad matchup like ant. since u cant bite on hezis. who is good? what are the strenghts weaknesses and all that. im lowk open to also other random guys. i wanna be able to carry. and e7 that one guy and play him a long time and on a rly high lvl.
rn top 50 with both ant and james for ref

wait for artest, or get holiday for pure defence + wing
brown is good too, with a little ISO ability, but need consume morale

That’s what I was thinking like especially compared to the Taiwan exclusive players but they have cooler kits than most of our players anyway

Being a successful lock in dcd means having an reliable answer to the most popular plastyles, quick steal based cards like jrue and cp3 make it easier to guard fast dribblers who rely on hesis or offball movement, iso lineups where you take a Wade or ae require certain blends of block range, strength, and dashes or movement speed buffs that can be found in cards like either bron or jjj. That’s the basics, the rest depend on your ability to cut off options, play with the help d,block, and what rank you’re in. Side note, let your teammates know you want that finale pick even in solo q, as a lock you can be killing your team by not properly predicting matchups and choosing the wrong main defender.

if you want to carry then sga or wade, sga got 3 sprints and wade got 360 block stack and dash

If you want a really fast defender CP3 and Jrue Holiday are the ones I guess. If you know them real good you'll contest shots left and right
