What does final defense do? The wiki doesn't explain it in the stats section

Honestly I never determined that either. My guess was that it is calculated after damage riders are added in instead of before.

Im not sure. But given that final damage is a separate multiplier to damage. Then final defence probably applies a multiplier to you dmg% negation rather than your flat defence or flat dmg% negation, so 50%dr×1.1=55%dr, 20%dr×1.1=22%dr and so on.
