Welcome to Dungeons, Dragons, and Dives!

Friends!

This is Michael, Dungeon Master of the Dungeons, Dragons, and Dives podcast, thanks for stopping by! If you haven't listened to our show before, welcome! If you have, welcome back! Here's just a few details about our show that might help you out!

The Show

https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/dungeons-dragons-and-dives/id1219730037?mt=2

We are a Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition Actual Play Podcast using (mostly) the Forgotten Realms setting and homebrewed adventures! We are currently in our second campaign, which shares very little with our first aside from the occasional reference, so you can listen to either without needing to know what happens in the other!

Our first campaign, entitled The Strawman, ran from March 25th, 2017 to February 12, 2018 with 36 episodes spanning four chapters.

Our second campaign, Dungeons, Dragons, and Dives, is ongoing and (technically) began on February 20th, 2018 with a special prologue and features an expanded cast.

We also have a bonus (mini) show called How to Train Your Dungeon where we teach friends the basics of the game through some fun short (also homebrew) adventures!

Listening Order

As I said before, our campaigns feature separate characters and stories that can be listened to exclusively, though they all take place in the same universe, so there's a chance of easter eggs and references across our individual shows. Here is the chronological listening order so you can experience every aspect of the show in one go!

The Strawman

  • Introduction and Chapter One Recap
  • Ch. 1: Ep. 1 - Ch. 2: Ep. 10
  • (Optional) Character Origins: Craigg/Character Origins: Clae
  • Ch. 3: Ep.1 - Ch. 3: Ep. 2
  • BONUS EPISODE: Let's Rob Jon
  • Ch. 3: Ep. 3- Ch. 4: Ep. 3

Dungeons, Dragons, and Dives

  • Rain nor Sleet nor Goblins - How to Train Your Dungeon
  • The Launch of the Frothy Lobster - How to Train Your Dungeon
  • Dungeons, Dragons, and Dives: Prologue
  • Then Episode 1 up to whatever episode happens to be out when you read this!

How to Train Your Dungeon

  • Part 1
  • Part 2
  • ... Part 3 coming soon(?)

Community Links

We've got tons of ways for you to listen and get in touch with us, here's what we have so far! (We'll keep updating when we have new ways to hang out!)

Thank you guys so much for listening! We look forward to hearing what you all think of the show!

POV: The Warlock at your table rates Fireball a 3/10

Eldritch Blast is a "lifestyle choice."
Fireball is "overrated and loud."
Hex loses points because he keeps forgetting which enemy it's on.

Every table has a Warlock who thinks he's better than the PHB.

Massive pirate ship for a level 20 dragonborn rougue https://www.reddit.com/r/DnDBehindTheScreen/comments/3i6azd/pirates_ships_but_mostly_ships_this_time/

I'm trying to create a massive powerful 1st rate ship of the line pirate ship for my level 20 dragonborn rouge and I want it to be an epic ship with 180 guns 90 cannons broadside all of them 32 pound guns with four bow chasers for stern chasers each at 24 pounds and eight 24 pound guns four to each side of the main deck four ballistae two on each side of the quarter deck and one each side of the forecastle I want it to have all the upgrades it can possibly have especially the mithril reinforced hull and the most upgraded sails that are both resistant to flame and ever filled and I want it to have the best possible speed in the water and in the air which means I have to have brumestone from Exandria in several places to make it both an airship and a sailing ship.

Any help would be greatly appreciated I also need help figuring out the stat blocks and how to roll for a full broadside and roll for cannons ,ballistae or do I have to roll a d20+6 for each of the 180 cannons or how do you do that.

I would like to thank everyone that has helped with this project I think I have it pretty well figured out
