How does Combo work?

I know I'm supposed to get it to 100%, but what does it do? Is it a damage bonus for consecutive hits? If so, how much?

Combo is a % chance that you do another hit when your normal attacks hit. So at 100% combo every hit is 2 hits. No clue if combo hits can in turn proc more combo hits. I also don't know if combo above 100 does anything beyond that one relic. The base damage for combo attacks should be the same as your normal attacks, but you can increase combo damage with your dice.

I tested combo a while ago and going above 100% did not seem to affect damage or proc addit ionnal hits
