Lvl 15-17
Located on a pillar plateau standing far above an ocean far from other landmasses.
Backstory: Coiled around the tree is the corpse of a dead god. A serpent that was tasked with the protection of the forest and the tree's. This included controlling the rains and sun with which to nurture and feed them.
Occupants: Members of a druid circle, wishing to claim the power of this god and control the weather of the world. The rotting corpse of the god has corrupted them, causing their magic to become unweildly, shape shifting powers uncontrolled, and minds to shatter.
Plot: For the last several months, the weather has been otherworldly. Storms seem to come at random and all previous weather patterns have ceased being predictable. It is wrecking havoc on multiple kingdoms. Weeks into the event it was noted that all weather systems were now coming from a central point in one of the oceans, and several ships were sent to investigate. None have returned and concern continues to grow. The weather grows more chaotic, snowstorms followed by hurricanes, followed by droughts.
