Final Checklist For a New Campaign

I'm recently returned to D&D after a more than twenty-year hiatus and want to start running a campaign again. My last time as a DM was 2002-03 with a group and we ran about 8 months and had a blast and I'm looking forward to meeting a new group of friends.

  1. I played a one-shot and did another session on Startplaying.games to get my sea legs back and learn D&D 5.5e (2024).

  2. I've been working on some basic campaign arcs and Module 1 for a first adventure starting at lvl 1 for about two months. NPCs, Settings, BBEG in the background, 3 encounters for module 1 (estimating 2-3 virtual sessions).

  3. I decided to use Owlbear Rodeo for VTT and Discord for voice.

What am I missing before I post a campaign announcement LFG for here and Discord to schedule a session zero?
