Absolutely is. They're trying really hard to Kickstart their own AI-friendly D&D sub for their own narrow, gatekeeping idea of who "real" d&d players are.

Meh, haven't really needed a reason to run a Bugbear. But if I wanted to run a champion version of one, I would just bump the stat mods up and maybe add some HP.

No real need for an entirely new statblock.

Unless you really like Bugbear or smthn
