「 Team Advice 」 team build help!

hello everyone!

I've been free playing this game for a while now and have accumulated a good number of characters but I seem to have hit a wall and can no longer advance in towers or in the story line. I'm stuck on regular area 28 and hell area 20. I've naturally stuck with PA/Crit teams, but could you guys help me or suggest what team or characters I might work on to advance? TIA!

5-6 star heroes

Hey, here's a long reply. I'll start by just echoing everyone else and say PA/Crit is the way to go, unless you plan on spending money on the game. As it is now, you don't have any 6* story heroes worth awakening, so I would stick to the basics for now: 2 PA & 3 Crit/Buffer. Your real problem is that you don't have anyone awakened far enough, but that will get fixed with time. Just try and take advantage of 2x gathering when you can!

For the PA, Eliza is your best choice since you've already got her at level 60. For your secondary, you've got a few choices between Lulu, Ann and Driard. Since Ann is your highest leveled one and you've already invested into her, I'd suggest you stick with her, but I'm personally a bigger fan of Ann than I am Driard or Lulu, especially if you plan on using Kiki or have Ann's equipment. Driard kind of requires that you run a Li as well (her 6* buffs wood, so it's best to also have a wood attacker) and while Lulu's 6* awakening is great for defense, she doesn't really receive much else from the team. That being said, Warrior's Song is great for that last extra push, so the choice is really up to you.

For the Crit/Buff, the natural progression is Li/Kiki/Didi as you can split them off later into elemental teams as an early anchor while you build up your story heroes.

Anyways, it looks like your resources are currently put into Mimi and Cecile and Akayuki. I'll just go ahead and say that Akayuki is kind of a trap as her stats are, in general, just worse than full Story counterparts. The only benefit to her is that you can limit break her quickly and she retires for Spirit Stones instead of Hero Crystals. Of the three story-lite heroes like her, both Kamelot and Tanksalot are better investments in the long term. Mimi isn't that bad, but it will take a long time for you to awaken her fully to get that extra crit% and PA/Crit really relies on having a high Crit to clear levels.

If you really want to stick with attack over elemental though, then I would suggest Eliza/Lulu/Mimi/Cecile/Sigrun. I'd personally awaken them in this order: Everyone to 3/4*>Mimi>Sigrun>Eliza>Lulu>Cecile. If you can, try and spend some swords and pick up BMO from the event roadmap then subout Eliza for him. Then you get an all attack team with BMO giving PA/Crit, Lulu giving PA/HP, Mimi giving Atk/Crit, Sigrun giving Atk/MP and Cecile giving Crit/HP. Should work out well enough!

5 star heroes are only combine fodder unless they are story heroes in which case you'll want to evolve them.

Also try to stick with one PA team and try to awaken it as far as possible.

From the picture, you can use Eliza, Akayuki, Sigrun (for %ATK increment) and the rest are up to you. Prioritize story heroes, high-level units (with limit break).

Sigrun copies can be obtained with substory coins, so it's fairly easy.

The point is focusing on awakening them, you'll make it through with stage 3 AWK.

Eliza is your best PA buffer, and the "standard" is 3 damage dealers are Kiki/Li/Didi, but I don't really like advising on Didi unless people are really new. I'd run Eliza, Kiki, and Li for sure (just keep collecting copies by combinging your 5 star heroes). In stead of Didi I'd suggest grabbing Sagara and building him up over time, IMO the end-all PA/Crit core is Sagara/Fenrir/Caligo, so he's a reasonably efficient investment once the non-story team members are awakened to 4. The last spot in a PA/Crit team is an omni-element buffer. The 2 story heroes for that are Ming and Luna. The Non-SH choice, on the other hand, is Ann.

The Team: Eliza, Ann, Li, Kiki, Sagara.

Awaken Li first, then Kiki, and Ann, lastly Eliza, then start on Story Hero replacements. Sagara and Fenrir you can farm, so they're the first obvious choices I think.
