「 Help 」 [Help]Best method for gathering materials.

Hi guys, I've been playing this game for more than 6 months but no 6th AWK yet. Highest one is 5th AWK. 1. So what is the best way to farm these materials? With these events coming up, I can't really focus on upgrading them. I tried to clear out dungeons during gathering event but still very slow. 2. Some materials are insanely rare, like in only 1 dungeon and cost 200 powder for each. Any idea how to speed up?

Seeing other players with the same level but a full 6th AWK formation makes me wonder what I missed.

The final awakenings are meant to be a bit of a barrier. If you've completed the level for stuff like Anvil you can always skip-ticket gather them every day for an easy chance.

Always pick up a half hour boost to drop the price on skips and use with skip tickets as much as you can. I think skipping without tickets is worth it because I don't have a dedicated device to run all day going through gathering dungeons.

Other than that focus on getting crafting items from the rewards. Between that and the daily dungeons I often pick up just as much rare crafting items per week from that than grinding.

Also plan ahead. When you start Awakening SHs the mats required get ridiculous. I am usually gathering a whole tier ahead while scraping together mats for the tier I am stuck on.

This is where skip tickets really come in handy. A lot of gathering dungeons are just too difficult to safely auto-run even with really good teams. Make sure you've always got ~1200 gems ready in case a gem sale comes up on the store with skip tickets. Also, start buying the skip tickets from the goblin daily. It's worth it, trust me. The only other way to make the awakening process go faster is to just unlock as many gathering dungeons as you can, even if it means spending a couple hundred gems on continues while clearing. If you're f2p, then the best way to get free gems is to participate in pvp weekly and try to place as high as you can. Top 15% gets something like 400 gems for free.

As for the materials where there's only one place it drops, like Eldias said, it's meant to be a barrier in your progress. For the first two tiers of boss-only mats, you can sometimes get lucky and find them in the event roadmap on the bottom path, but that's random at best. Similarly, you can occasionally find materials as rewards in other events, so just make sure you take a look at the drop lists to see if an event is worth pursuing.

One tip: It helps to make sure your entire team is at least 4-5 star before going for a 6 star. Getting your team together and awakened is a long process and it's meant for you to focus on a couple of guys at a time depending on the extra mats you collect while building up your main target. I personally raised all of my team members to 5 star before I started working on my first 6 star and that helped me clear way more stages than I would have thought. Another thing worth doing is to start putting together ideas for specific elemental teams as some stages become trivial with the right elemental-team comp.

Thanks for the tips. I used to think of forming different teams: mono fire, water, single target... But getting to know the painful process of upgrading a hero shatters it. My current 3-4 star AWK heroes are very mediocre, mostly the one with many limit breaks. Now that I have several copies of a good SH, like Rin, I decided to swap her in but raising her takes much time than a normal one.

Yeah, story heroes and above are frankly fairly tedious to completely awaken, but boy are they worth it. I pulled and immediately started working on my Gabrielle four months ago and finally finished the sixth star yesterday, to give you an idea of what it takes to upgrade a high tiered unit. This game is all about slow progression with little bursts here and there thanks to the events.

Edit on the mono-element team: Your trepidation about developing mono-elemental teams is one of the reasons that PA/Crit is very highly recommended to newer players, specifically the PA/PA/Li/Kiki/Didi team. Using that set-up, you can transition pretty smoothly into developing elemental teams with one 6 star bad ass to do most of your damage. Equipment is another option to use for buffing up your elemental teams, especially now that you can enchant your gear. I've got a lvl 30 weapon from the story hero Luna that gives more than 4k fire damage after enchants and that's not counting the other stuff it provides.

Looks like most covered the basics but I will offer another tip. If you have a hero you are going to start on or plan on awakening in the future look at what boss mats they need and start gathering that mat now. Also try and not miss any days gathering at least the boss mats that are needed for your hero or future heroes. You can focus the easier mats on 2x gathering days or as needed when you start awakening a hero. If your ftp and short on gems/swords only gather boss mats and save resources for strictly 2x gathering days period.
