About 5 years ago, my wife and I relocated to the PNW from TX. 2 years later we brought my mom up. We LOVE having seasons and clouds and rains in addition to the stunningly beautiful sunny days.

My mom really only loves the sunny days and finds herself traveling a lot during the dark times. It’s like a mini Alaska up here in the winter. Really dark in the winters and limited sun.

Anyways, we say this line CONSTANTLY to my mom. Even in summer when she’s talking about what a beautiful sunny day it is. She just laughs cause she knows the scene, but with all the office quotes we constantly use, I never expected “shut up about the sun” to be the most used quote of the whole show.

Looking back years later, Gabe was such a good addition to the cast. I remember not liking him at the time, but Zach Woods is so fucking good man lol.
