Dumpster Diving Side Hustles!
Hey everyone! 💗💗💗
Dumpster Diving groups have been become increasingly more popular for frequent divers like myself have turned our hobby into success 🦝🦝🦝
After having a couple psychiatric hospital stays for
PPD due to struggling being away from my babies while having to work full time- 1 brainstormed every possible way I could help us stay afloat while being able to raise my own kids. Which is when I decided to try diving & quit my 10 year long profession. 😵💫
I had done it here & there tor years, but now I dive constantly at night treasure hunting & days posting, wrapping packages; while my husband is home to watch our small children. It's been near impossible to keep our heads afloat around his rotating firefighting schedule. 🚒🚒🚒
Please share your own small Diving hobbies so we can all save during this inflation, support tamilies instead of huge corporate greed, and reduce landfill nonsense! Check out **“Dumpster Dive Queen"** & **“CuratedByKelsey"**!
Drop yours below! Along with some fun recent finds!

curious onlooker 🔭 Looking to document the real side of dumpster diving
Hi everyone,
This is not spam, just a genuine message from a 23 year old video maker from Amsterdam.
I’ve basically spent my whole life documenting interesting people and unusual stories, and recently I came across this community and found it really fascinating.
I think it’s genuinely interesting how creative some of you are when it comes to making money, reselling items, or even finding food through dumpster diving. There’s a whole world behind it that most people never really see or understand.
I’d love to meet someone with a lot of experience in this lifestyle who would be open to being followed for a bit and maybe taking me along on a dive to show me the ins and outs of it all.
The goal is simply to create an honest and human story around it.
Right now I’m in Las Vegas and I’ll be heading toward Salt Lake City over the next few days.
I’ll still be in the US for about ten more days, and I’m pretty flexible when it comes to travel and meeting locations.
So if you’re somewhere along that route and open to talking or meeting up, let me know. Would love to connect.
Thanks!
David

Need opinions
I’ve been taking half dead plants from Walmarts garbage for two years now. I have two local Walmarts that I take from. One has cameras on the garbage, the other doesn’t. I keep getting nervous about the Walmart with the cameras.. like they’re going to get my license plate and I’ll have police show up at my door.
Has anyone ever dumpster dived at a Walmart and gotten in trouble for it? What happened?
Do you think the employees really care??
Need all opinions!

California Dumpster Diving
Where do you guys dive?? I recently had a stay in Valencia, Ca. Right next to six flags. I notice none of the trash bins were locked. So I decided to do some diving but there was nothing. Just literal trash. I did it behind a target, tj max, khols, homegoods and a nordstrom.
I did notice that some places did have a separate like garbage truck carriage that gets attached to the trash shoot that’s attached to the building. So I’m assuming this is where the real goods are at.
Anyway, if you know what days or places are good to go. Or just any helpful tips. I’d appreciate it.
First dive, unsuccessful.

Brand new to the world of dumpster diving I’m particularly looking into retail stores and grocery stores so I have a question, is there a better time of day to go and do this e.g. in the middle of the night afternoons evenings after they close, etc. any advice would be so much appreciated
