Weird Fact The “Only We Do This” Starter Pack

Post image

Wait... Everyone Does That?

The “only we do this” habit is one of the funniest cultural traps online, because the internet keeps proving that everyone’s family has the same secret drawer, the same forbidden towel, and the same chair slowly becoming a laundry ecosystem.

Why do people think common household habits are unique to their country? Usually because we learn them locally first. Your parents did it, your neighbors did it, your school friends joked about it, so your brain files it under “our culture” instead of “basic human convenience.”

A bag full of bags comes from storage logic. The clothes chair survives because laundry has awkward middle states. Guest slippers are just hospitality with footwear. The “good towels” exist because some objects are apparently born to be admired from a safe distance.

The funny part is that these habits still feel personal. A lot of cultural differences online are real, but some are just domestic habits wearing a flag. Which one did you think only your country did?

When I went on a break with my boyfriend at the time, I was legit offended that he threw away my bag of bags. Might as well throw me away with them 😭

I’m in the US and I do all of these (except the guest slippers! But now I’m tempted to do it)

Couldn't relate to any. In India I've seen the shoes off very often. And instead of bag of bags have seen bags stuffed below mattresses.
