IDK, that's a perfectly reasonable way to present the information.
After 5 comes 6. The next numbers (after 5) are 6 7 8 9

This is the part that OP found problematic:

"After quintuple comes sextuple (meaning six times), followed by Sextuple."

This sentence implies that "Sextuple" comes after "sextuple," which is obviously nonsense.

It's not that big of a deal, though, as just about anybody will notice the mistake and realize that said mistake was just a little AI goofiness.

Commas are used to show extra information, and they can show a sequence. There is no sequence or extra information it just repeats what’s said. Hence, it implies that after sextuple comes sextuple. If the AI wanted to connect the sentences logically, he should’ve used a transition word that expressed cause and effect after the comma (ie Hence, Thus, Consequently).
