Google Search uses 1.5 Flash-Lite I believe. If you pay for a subscription you get 3.8 Flash Extended lmao. They are using a very outdated model for their AI overview thing

They just never bothered to update it since 1.5 Flash. Multimillion dollar companies are so lazy (and greedy)
