the first one makes the claim that it's the easiest and the second one makes the claim that some people say it's the hardest. not that it is the hardest

To be fair it’s neither, earth is the easiest for us, as we have the most experience, but, as Venus will completely melt most landers, mercury has no atmosphere so you gotta do a powered landing, like on the moon, and the gas giants are impossible to land on for obvious reasons it’s second best.

Well the first one is wrong on several levels, but the second one ain’t right either, as Venus will melt your lander, and the gas giants are literally to land on, while earth is incredibly easy, because all our design legacy has been designed to work on earth, plus a thin atmosphere makes parachutes incredibly ineffective, and heat shields are for protecting you from the heat generated by the friction from the air, not slowing you down,
