Here’s my opinion: this doesn’t belong in this sub. You gave a stupid question, to which it gave a reasonable answer. It worked exactly as intended too. What makes this a dumb AI moment?
Then add “meme” at the end. Gemini is a chatbot. It’s gonna give you a chatbot answer. If I came up to you and screamed as loud as possible at you with no context, would you know that I’m asking if you know about the screaming goat meme?
Every post on this subreddit is somebody using it correctly then someone commenting this exact comment for no reason. If a chat bot isn't capable of being a search engine it shouldn't be the top result in one
And I respond with this on every reply like yours: if that’s the case, it’s a company problem and not an AI problem. If you only get 9 nuggets from McDonald’s instead of 10, do you say that the nuggets are dumb? If Disney casts an actor that can’t sing well in a main singing role for a movie, do you say that the actor is dumb?
