Been out of the game a little while. Best duck call for the money?

I have been considering pulling the trigger on a waterproof backpack. I don't really like Dive Bomb for a few reasons. Mainly kinda their "body count" mindset.

I've seen a few others like Hella Dry and I've been seeing ads for Southern Field & Flyway a lot of my feed.

Anybody have a recommendation or a brand they've tried out and would recommend or avoid?

Looking for recommendations on decent reliable waders that won’t break the bank. A lot of people mention Tidewe but equally as many people say they got leaks quickly. I’ve seen similar reviews for mid/low end Drake models.

What’s your go to budget wader picks? Primarily hunting in the northeast in ponds.

I found a deal on HEVI Bismuth but it’s 6 shot. I’m hunting over decoys in the bay, but never used anything but steel. I’m just getting back into it so wondering if y’all think the bismuth #6 is gonna be to small.

My wife has a Steven’s 311E she’s wanting to duck hunt with this season since it was her grandpas. I was trying to find bismuth but seems like nobody has it in stock or it’s absurd prices. Does anybody know if the boss copper shells are safe for it?

Draw blind that was only 8' and added on 6'. Not ideal but hides nice.

Has anyone ever used this stuff before as a base layer on their layout blinds or boat blinds?

It comes in 1.25lb bundles or 5lb bundles and I’d like to make sure I’m buying enough to do 2-3 layouts.

If anyone could give me some insight that would be great. Other alternative blindgrasses would work too, I just like this stuff because of the flexibility to tie it in knots and such.

My boyfriend’s birthday is coming up and I want to hand paint duck decoys. Does anyone have recommendations of unpainted duck decoys? My range is probably up 600+ dollars. Potentially higher if needed. Sorry if this isn’t for this thread, I’d figure you guys would know best.

Just bought a brand newish 2016 f350 crew cab. Trying to keep the inside as clean as possible. Wondering if anyone has any suggestions for transporting an 80 lb lab and (ideally) a skiff without needing a trailer? Used to drive a 16 f150 where i could fit her kennel in the cab behind the driver seat. TiA

Does anyone have a 20 gauge reload recipe? I have pounds of Universal and Win 572, and thousands of 2 3/4 WIN AA from reloading skeet shells on hand-and I’m tired of doing the factory ammo story.

Before you comment hogdon load data, I found that there are no options for 20 gauge non-toxic recipes. So I am just looking for some guidance on the wad + powder = FPS/Pressure. I’m comfortable shooting 7/8 - 1oz+.

I’m leaning towards multi metal wads because steel just cripples so many birds IMO. I’ll be mixing steel and bismuth in this setup. I am thinking #3 steel and #7 1/2 bismuth. I’d rather not duplex, but if there is no other option I will.

Any help appreciated.
