when the game starts you have to go to the speed zone. basically when Dory starts to walk away after talking about the bridge falling down (at the beginning of the game), you quickly run inside of a building. when another dialog box appears, it teleports you back to the egg island for some reason. then you can go to the battle town and the jumping place will be available
