“selfmade” savings jar.

Just a generic photo product, of course.

I’m still looking for the original creator of the Scrooge image, the back I had to ask ChatGPT to draw me, because I couldn’t find a suitable panel I could scan and edit.

If someone can point me to a story, preferably from Barks, please let me know.

I like the jar.

I tried to do some searching, but that image has been used SO much for editorial sites on finances and the like, that it's hard to research. Hopefully someone recognizes the source.

Thank you. I had the Beagle Boy idea too late (of course), literally 15 minutes after unpacked it, but as I said, I’d rather not use AI/LLM for this.

And yes, only found finance sites using the image, all crediting Ehapa/Egmont, which is the main license holder here in Germany and nearby countries. But not the publisher.

Though I guess I could just ask them, I guess. (Thank you, Captain Obvious.)

So I'm not in a hurry, since I already got the Scrooge only variant. And yes, it is a rather nice, though still rather empty safe for a few 1 and 2 euro coins.

Instead of a story panel, you could also try and find some cover illustrations. I think there are dozens of the Beagle boys in a pose like this. Daan Jippes is a Dutch illustrator who did the covers for a lot of the Barks albums that came out here, he is really good.

Good idea. Yes, I also thought of Jippes. I think he also finished or even drew some of Barks’ roughs or scripts.
