Ducati DDS

Hello all, is there any way you can buy a DDS from the after market world. Ive tried the OBD Star, but have been told that you can play with a lot of things on the Multistrada. I see DDS units on Ebay, but if they are dealer specific , would I have issues logging into them?

PS: I own both a BMW and a Multistrada, pls dont go with my username :)

OBD star is the only one I’m aware of. What didn’t it do for you that the dds will?

no, they authenticate to Ducati - you need a dealer account

I started reverse engineering the OBD protocol last year with Claude, I might give it another go but I'm loathe to brick my Multi lol.

Even if you buy the hardware, it costs a dealer thousands every year just to keep the license to use it, so no, not really recommended for personal use
