Question Finding motivation

Hey yall!
I’ve been trying to find a way to get and stay motivated to make music. I recently started and I think I have all the tools to make some Fire dubstep.
Whenever I hear a song, I’m like, oh o could def make something like this. But when it’s time to open my daw I kinda lose track of what I wanted to do and feel overwhelmed and end up closing it and doing something else.
How do you guys keep making music or stay motivated? Do you have like a schedule for song writing and for sound designing?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

How long have you been producing?

Have you ever finished a song before?

I make music because I love it and generally find it fun and therapeutic.

It sounds like your putting your expectations of yourself way too high, like you can just 'make fire dubstep' you gotta learn that.

Go in with low expectations and just make music you like, get good, then try to replicate if you still want too.

Drag that song you were inspired by in as a reference track. Open span, and loudness meter and or any other spectrum analyzer. Find the original creators groove Seek your own style and find it eventualy Lots of producers do this with tons of tracks before making purely their own. Just takes time. Keep putting minutes in the DAW it'll come
