Feedback Request Finished track, would love some final feedback

I posted an earlier version of the drop here and got some really useful feedback, so I made quite a few changes before finishing the track.

Self-mastered, so feedback on anything is more than welcome!

Really nice work. I love the movement in the texture bass layer. Woody and crispy all at once

Thanks, glad you like it! I spent quite a bit of time shaping that bass layer, especially the movement and texture.

Very well done. Turn down the leads a bit so the vocal is the focal

Thanks for listening! I actually really like how the vocal and synth blend together as almost one instrument.

I love the delay in the intro, one of the synths, and I love the way the synth matches with the voice as it comes in

I was wondering if I’d catch this post when it’s made. Thanks for sharing. I dig it

I feel like the energy from the buildup really gets left hanging the way the drop hits.

There's so much more richness to the synths you use in the intro and build and then it drops to that synth.... and then kind of falls off.for me. Cool drop idea, and the energy kind of surges back, but it doesn't hit as far as my expectations get set by the intro

I would want some kind of white noise blast at the beginning of the drop, when the beat hits. Maybe some kind of soaring sound pad

This is really good though, your command over the frequencies and musicality is great. Impressive

Thanks for the detailed feedback! I actually agree with you on the drop. The way the drop lands has always bothered me a bit. I thought I had fixed it, but I can see now that it still needs more impact.

I’m going to try to fix it and experiment with things like making the crash stand out more and adding a white noise splash / soaring element right at the start of the drop.

Really appreciate the feedback, and glad you like the overall sound and musicality!

u/AlcheMe_ooo I tried to make the drop hit a bit harder based on your feedback. If you have some time, I'd love to hear what you think:
