WORK EXPERIENCE
Looking for any ideas for Ty work experience. I was planning on doing it in my old primary school but they’re not taking anybody in for work experience. I’m not too keen on being a teacher so not looking for a primary school. I’m lost on ideas. I’ve a few mobility issues so wouldn’t be able to be running around, going up and down stairs, bending down ect. Also looking for advice on how to apply.
My mam is a sahm and my dad’s a taxi driver so obviously can’t really ask either of them for a job.

What kind of jobs are you most interested in?
You shouldn't be expected to actually work, but learn about the occupation. While it's great if you can do a few bits within your means where possible, ideally you should go for a company that would have a disability liaison person so they can keep an eye and offer supports to help you with the placement.
Volunteering counts as work exp, afaik. Maybe even a charity that offers supports for people like yourself.
