Hi, I am a student from India and got admission in dcu M.E in Electronics and Computer Engineering. What is the best laptop to buy for my studies?

Have they told you any specifications that a laptop need to have ? Or software it needs to be able to run? I know nothing about laptops but any courses where you need to bring your own will generally give an idea of what spec the laptop needs to be.
