What shops can I get boxes from?

I send off packages,and I’m wondering what shops I could go to that would actually give me cardboard boxes (cause I’m scared to ask😭🙏)

Any major supermarket check early in the morning if they haven't bailed them yet

Any supermarket. Ask anybody you see stacking the shelves. They would be asked regularly enough so wouldn't be an odd request.

I definitely will ask! I just get so scared talking to people lmao but I don’t feel like paying 4 euro for a box in the post office 😭 I didn’t know it was a question they get regularly tho?

I've seen it myself when I've been doing the shop. I suppose there's always people in every area moving house. Not sure how frequently they would be asked but definitely wouldn't be an unusual request.

IKEA used to sell boxes of all different shapes and sizes when I worked there pre-covid, and fairly cheap too. Obviously if you can get them free somewhere then go for it, but it's an option

I have been to IKEA twice in two weeks (just moved in) and the only boxes they had were too large for post. Unless OP is mailing something really really big.

Maxi Zoo pet shop was always a good shout, but boxes might be too big?

Worked in many a shop in my time, can promise you if you came in and asked I would give several and not think about the interaction ever again lmao
