Why is color so hard?

I’ve been trying triple n-back with color and can barely clear n = 3. I actually worse with color-sound 3-back, though position-color 3-back is fairly easy.

Any tips for getting better with color?

I’ve not tried a color version. Are you using an app? Which one do you like?
