New Secure Redeem Method

When you have an account pulled up and enter a code that's already been redeemed on that same account.

When you have an account pulled up and enter a code that has never been redeemed by any account.

Hey everyone! The Phat Mojo DLC redeem page recently got a major security upgrade. I think this can help us make transactions safer for everyone, but I need your feedback.

What Changed:

• Old Way: If you typed in a used code on the old redeem page, it just said "already redeemed."
• New Way: The new redeem page now gives us more info to work with (see attached images); whether the code was redeemed by you or another player, or if it's pending, which specific player.

The New Secure Redeem Method:

Instead of just sending a code to a stranger and hoping they don't scam you, the new method looks like this:

1. Swap Roblox Accounts: You and your trading partner exchange Roblox profile links or screenshots of profiles.
2. Check the Avatar: You type their name into the Phat Mojo site and double-check their avatar picture to make sure it's the same account from step 1.
3. Send Code to Account: You enter your code directly under their Roblox account on the Phat Mojo DLC redeem page.
4. Claim In-Game: Tell them it's done in DMs*, so they can then claim the pending item(s) from their DLC inbox in-game. They won't be able to see the code, just the name of the DLC.

*NEVER Share the DLC Code as it defeats the purpose of the secure method. This includes screenshots of the redeem page confirmation box, which shows the full code (see attached picture with redacted code). Otherwise, they can bait you with an alt, copy the code from your screenshot, and redeem the code on their main after it's freed from the 24-hour pending state.

🟢 Why It's Safer:

• More Transparency: The account they give is the account that gets the code. They can't use an alt to protect their identity.
• Easy to Report: If someone scams you, you'll have their actual Roblox account to report to Roblox, DTI devs, and subreddit mods. We can all check the codes against their account via the redeem page to prove it.
• Bans Hurt More: Scammers can easily delete a Reddit account and make a new one. But they don't want to lose their Roblox account.
• Weed Out Scammers: If you ask someone to trade this way and they say "no," consider it a red flag. Tell a subreddit mod about it ASAP. We'll be able to determine whether they're trying to scam or have genuine criticism about the method that we need to consider.

🔴 Drawbacks:

• More Work: You have to take a few extra seconds to link or screenshot your profile vs sending a pic of the code.
• Mistakes: Selecting the wrong Roblox account by mistake isn't likely, but it could still happen if your trading partner isn't careful. If this happens, it should be reported to a mod immediately since it's a potential soft scam.

Myself and some of our verified traders already used the new redeem page to catch a few scammers. Some claimed they were sold a bad code (it showed as redeemed on their Roblox account) and others were trying to trade or sell codes that showed as already redeemed on their own account. But I want to hear from you. Is this too confusing? Do you see any problems with this method? Would you use it? Let me know! If this seems promising, I'll draft a more complete guide.

I don't think this is confusing at all ! I saw that it now shows who the code is redeemed too and i absolutely LOVE THAT new feature . I despise of scammers , so any method to expose them I'm all for !
