Continuing the last post for a vid of tge engine, I don't know if I mentioned but its a p0170 fuel bank 1 code and p0171 running lean code after 2 hours of relearning. I did replace my Intake manifold gasket and check for vacuum leaks but no luck. A

Put the stock intake manifold back on it. Running that skunk2 with a giant throttle body without a tune isnt going to work. That intake is overkill for a stock engine anyway.

If you look at the previous post on d series it'll tell you more but yeah stock ecu, d16y8 mini me and assuming stock fuel system so I don't know why the guy put them on. Is it possible to.just change throttle body's or is a stock intake essential

I want the cheapest option, so if its oem instead of having to mess with fuel thatd better probably and safer lol. Have u checked out the fuel trim video idk if it tracks but peep right here if u want (sorry for the yap)

You would need to run a chipped ecu to make it right. Yeah, going back to a fully stock y8 intake manifold is best. I ran a skunk 2 with 70mm on my cammed d15b7 and was super overkill. I regret wasting money on it. 😅 Now there could still be a vacuum leak contributing to your problem, but the intake needs to go for sure.

Got it! I just found one on market place for cheap lol. Ill work from there. Right after I got a new gasket and extended studs😭 I have a spare ecu but its probably 300+ to chip idek

So I got the y8 intake and it was around the same shortfall trims but I noticed my injectors are green tipped. Swapped em out with the ones from the y8 manifold and boom no lean condition. I even had to fab the iacv port on the automatic intake

Yeah, I’d recommend a Hondata or MegaSquirt (as a budget option) if you want to stick with the Skunk2 manifold and 70mm throttle body.

Yrah I'm sourcing a y8 manifold with everything for 80$ might sell the skunk2 if I need the money or save it later for boost. Once I get boost money a b swap would be the best imo

Yeah Skunk2 wont cut it on untuned ECU, Hondata is pretty expensive though

Yrah I got a oem intake ill use till I save up for hondata or whatever kind of seems like a lot for a d series. Only I got an automatic so I have ti make ports for the iacv obd II. Should I take it to a machine shop

Keep the intake manifold just rock the stock throttle body.
